If I knew this speech was to be given at the alumni dinner, I might have come. You, not unlike many others before you, tend to idealize the concept of Engineering Science. What you described was exactly the vision I was given in my last year of high school. Wow oh wow, how differently my world's been changed alright.
You are correct in saying that we always question "what's next?". But with EngSci, is there a next? Will the preparation and solid foundation really aid us in creating the 'New realms of engineering'?
