Welcome to my website!
I was born in November 1984 in Brampton and grew up in Mississauga—both suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Toronto. I'm in the Engineering Science program, studying Aerospace Engineering with a focus on scientific computing and computational fluid dynamics. In the future, I hope to pursue postgraduate studies.
I was a member of 845 Avro Arrow Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets for seven years. I graduated in 2003 as a Cadet Warrant Officer Second Class, having earned my glider- and private pilot licenses and learned quite a lot about leadership.
I enjoy dragon boating (with the U of T Engineering Iron Dragons), distance running, skiing, squash and ultimate frisbee. I completed my first marathon, the Toronto Waterfront, in 2005. I play the trombone (with the Skule Stage Band), acoustic guitar and am occasionally caught singing. I have a keen interest in many areas of computing, mostly stemming from extensive web development experience.

I read and think nonstop, but generally have little time to get my opinions and ideas into writing. Here you'll find some of those I've captured, and some of the resources and interesting items that have inspired me… and also probably a lot of junk.
This may be the ninth or tenth incarnation of my personal website, previous editions spanning perhaps eight years and half-a-dozen URLs. Currently I run Drupal and PmWiki on a large Dreamhost account shared with a friend.
Enjoy!
